Fire Marshal Training / Fire Warden Training

The role of the Fire Warden is normally the proactive role, keeping the zone that an individual is responsible for compliant and safe for the other occupants. The Fire Marshal sometime spelt Marshall is the reactive role. This would be during an outbreak of fire or a fire alarm. The terms have become interchangeable over time and it is personal preference what you call yourself but it is important to note there are two aspects to the role. We simply need approximately three car parking spaces and be able to achieve around about 6m distance from any building. The trainer will risk assess this on arrival and normally there are no issues.

Whilst we always recommend using the live rigs, the alternative would be to allow staff to experience extinguisher discharge only with no rigs, this will allow the delegate to understand what to expect should they need to use one.

Certificates will be sent out once the invoice has been paid, each delegate will receive a certificate and also a group certificate will be provided for your central records. We will normally invoice you in PDF format once the training is complete with 28 days for payment, we can flexible on the invoice due date.

Yes, for this to happen we will send you an invoice prior to the training and will require payment usually BACs up front. You will need to send a list of delegates who are attending names spelt as you would like them to appear on the certificates we will leave these with you once training is complete.

We would recommend that you carry out refresher training every three years as a minimum if you have minimal staff turnover. During this time you will be undertaking fire drills and having periodic meetings/briefings with your fire Wardens. We recommend more frequent training where there is a high turnover of staff for obvious reasons to keep your resilience
